Ngl I had a really positive experience with Zomboid and same for MC. Although I'm still getting used to the difference for server set up. It's been really easy to do and fast as well. The performance of the server even was really good although we were using the Lost Cities mod (which is a fairly tanky mod). 10/10 Host.

WARDOGS

Tactical all-out warfare for 100 players

WARDOGS is a tactical FPS from BULKHEAD, published by Team17, where one hundred players split across three teams fight over a single control zone. Set in the derelict industrial mountains of Eastern Europe, it trades the usual two-team deathmatch for a three-way scrap that rarely settles into a straight line.

Three teams, one control zone

Each match centres on a randomised 2x2km Control Zone. Teams score points for holding presence inside it, and the first to 100 points takes the match. With three factions in play, the fight is rarely a stalemate—pressure from a third side means the front line is always moving.

Buy your loadout, earn your keep

You start with $10,000 and buy a custom loadout every life. Cash comes from teamplay—reviving squadmates, holding objectives, and supporting the push—so the players doing the unglamorous work are the ones who can afford the good gear. Gunplay is realistic but tuned for readable, fair fights.

Destruction, vehicles, and logistics

The environment is destructible and buildable: cover you rely on can be blown apart, and fortifications you raise can turn a losing position around. Vehicles and logistics systems move troops and materiel across the zone, and proximity voice chat means the enemy squad stacking the next room can hear you coming.
