Running a HumanitZ dedicated server is... complicated.

System Requirements

To run a HumanitZ dedicated server, you'll want a system with at least 8GB of RAM and a modern quad-core processor, plus 20GB of free storage. The operating system should be Linux (Ubuntu 20.04+) or Windows 10/11 (64-bit).

Installation

Install the server using SteamCMD with the beta branch.

For Linux:

steamcmd +force_install_dir ./humanitz_server/ +login anonymous +app_update 2728330 -beta linuxbranch +quit

For Windows:

steamcmd.exe +force_install_dir c:\SteamCMD\humanitz_server\ +login anonymous +app_update 2728330 +quit

You'll need to forward ports 7777 (game) and 27015 (Steam query) on UDP.

Starting the server

Linux:

./HumanitZServer.sh -port=7777 -queryport=27015

Windows:

HumanitZServer.exe -port=7777 -queryport=27015
